Seating at Discovery Park
Discovery Park is a 302-acre outdoor festival and event venue in Sacramento, CA, located where the American River meets the Sacramento River. All events are general admission with open-air standing areas on grass fields.
- General Admission: Open-air standing areas with capacity up to 25,000 for concerts and up to 40,000 for large multi-day festivals.
- No Stadium Seating: There is no fixed seating — guests bring blankets or chairs for non-festival events where permitted.
- Accessible Areas: ADA-accessible viewing areas and accessible parking are available for major events. Contact the event organizer in advance for accommodations.

Parking at Discovery Park
Parking at Discovery Park is very limited for major events. We strongly recommend using alternative transportation options.
- Park & Ride Shuttles: Available for Aftershock Festival and other major events. Purchase shuttle passes in advance at aftershockfestival.com.
- SacRT Light Rail: Free light rail service may be available during select events. Check SacRT for routes and schedules.
- Rideshare: Uber/Lyft drop-off at the Garden Highway entrance (1600 Garden Highway). Strongly recommended for major events.
- On-Site Parking: Limited on-site parking accessed via the Garden Highway gate. Event staff will direct you to available spaces — arrive early.
- Bike Parking: Bicycle parking is available near the festival entrance.
Box Office & Tickets
Discovery Park does not have a permanent box office on-site. Tickets for events are sold through individual event organizers.
